Strengthening the digital skills in adult education
Project Description
The initiative will be implemented through effective project management, the development of a digital literacy methodology aimed at people aged 55 and over in Greece and Spain, and the training of teachers to strengthen digital skills in adult education. These activities will take the form of practical workshops in which participants will learn to use new digital tools to improve their employability and succeed in the workplace.
Objectives
- The objectives of this project are to equip adults with the tools and skills needed to bridge the digital divide through training focused on developing digital skills and improving their digital literacy, as well as helping them to keep pace with society in terms of ICT, thereby making it easier for them to use technology in their daily tasks.
Implementation
- Project management
- Methodology for digital literacy among adults aged 55 and over in Greece and Spain
- Teacher training: Building digital skills in adult education: We will organise these training events as workshops where participants will learn about new digital tools and how to use them to boost employability and succeed in the workplace.
- Enhancing the digital skills of the management team in adult education: evaluating training activities and applying the methodology.
Expected Results
The expected outcomes of this project are positive: an improvement in the skills of adults who are unfamiliar with the digital age and the changes that have been introduced in recent years. Should any aspect prove unsuccessful and the objectives set at the start of the project not be met, they will be revised and adapted so that, when the project is repeated, the results will be positive.
