How Safe Are Your Personal Data?
Project Description
This is an initiative aimed at promoting a culture of digital security and information protection in educational and workplace environments. The project addresses the critical need to raise awareness of online risks, providing tools and methodologies to improve digital identity, privacy and the safe use of technological devices among teachers, young people and professionals.
Objectives
- The rapid rise in cybercrime, which has acquired a new dimension with each passing day, and the concerns that have emerged in societal psychology, have made the protection of personal data and the adoption of measures in this context more important. In particular, while high-cost solutions are being developed worldwide to ensure corporate cybersecurity, the development of solutions in this area for individuals has been less efficient. With our project, studies will be carried out to close this gap.
Implementation
The first activity of our project will take place in Turkey. Software workflow diagrams will be created. The second activity, the project progress meeting, will take place in Germany. The studies will be evaluated and pilot studies will be carried out. The third activity of our project will be the project results completion meeting in Spain. The completed software programmes will be tested for the final time and integrated into the website. The conference will be for dissemination and publicity.
Expected Results
Substantial improvement in awareness and knowledge of the risks associated with the use of the Internet and new technologies.
Development of key competences for the protection of digital identity and personal data security.
Creation of practical guides and teaching materials aimed at preventing threats and improving cybersecurity in personal and professional contexts.
Implementation of personalised risk management plans that enable users to navigate and operate in digital environments safely and responsibly.
