Green Jobs Ambassadors

Project Description

Green Jobs Ambassadors is a project designed to promote green professions among vocational and technical education students. The main objective is to create a network of trained ambassadors who, through workshops and specialised teaching tools, will promote sustainability and future ecological competences. This initiative seeks to align with the European Green Deal to foster a labour market oriented towards environmental care. Through dissemination activities and face-to-face training, the programme aims to raise awareness among young people about new employment opportunities in the ecological sector. With a target of directly training 3,000 students and reaching 100,000 digital users, the project aspires to consolidate a permanent community interested in ecology and environmental protection.

Objectives

Implementation

To achieve our goals, we want to establish a network of Green Jobs Ambassadors who, equipped with the teaching tools we have created (workshop scenarios, operational and methodological manual), will promote green trades by leading these workshops for young people in technical and vocational schools. Likewise, we will carry out dissemination activities (international conferences, website project, social media) to reach as many potential recipients as possible.

Expected Results

The outcome of the project will be the establishment of a network of Green Jobs Ambassadors who will promote green trades, the creation of a community permanently interested in ecology, environmental issues and environmental protection, the training of 3,000 students in technical and vocational schools, reaching 100,000 unique internet users through dissemination activities, and raising awareness among young people in vocational schools regarding employment opportunities in green trades.
