Project Description
This project aims to create an e-learning platform to provide people participating in all fields of life, such as social, business and communication, with opportunities to access correct and reliable information, analyse, question, evaluate and obtain information and documents, and to teach them methods and techniques of digital literacy as a requirement of their personal responsibilities. The target groups of the project were determined as institutions working in the field of information technologies, teachers, academic staff, staff working in institutions and organisations, people with disabilities, university students, families and the general public.
Objectives
- Create and consolidate a comprehensive curriculum on digital literacy that is available on a sustained basis for several years.
- Facilitate access to high-quality digital educational resources for students and teachers, promoting an improvement in their technical competences.
- Foster digital autonomy through the offer of structured training modules that allow lifelong learning.
- Enhance the capacity of educational centres to integrate digital tools into their teaching and learning models.
Implementation
The implementation of the project is based on the creation of accessible online digital literacy training modules. These modules are organised in a centralised portal that serves as a repository of didactic content, interactive activities and support resources. The project follows a modular development methodology, allowing both teachers and students to select the most appropriate learning paths according to their competence level and specific needs, ensuring smooth integration into existing educational curricula.
Expected Results
Long-term availability of a structured curriculum for digital literacy training.
Measurable improvement in the knowledge and digital competences of the educational community, facilitating their adaptation to the current technological environment.
Creation of a robust digital platform that facilitates autonomous learning and equitable access to ICT competence training.
Strengthening of the capacity of participating centres to provide updated training aligned with the demands of a digital society.
