SMI-HILL
Support Migrants’ Integration by Home Language Learning
Project Description
SMI-HILL is an adult education project aimed at promoting the social inclusion of adults, with special attention to migration contexts and groups in vulnerable situations. The project seeks to strengthen personal, social and active participation competences to facilitate integration and access to learning and coexistence opportunities.
Objectives
- Strengthen the key competences of adult trainers and educators.
- Produce innovative pedagogical resources that use different artistic disciplines to develop key competences for inclusion within the target group and present these new resources in digital formats in a digital toolkit.
- Bring together adult trainers and educators from around the world to share good practices for future collaborations.
- Bring immigrants together in an innovative and safe environment.
Implementation
Implementation is structured through training activities, collaborative working sessions, exchange of good practices and awareness-raising actions with entities and participants in the adult field. The project combines local work and international cooperation to adapt methodologies and resources to the real needs of adult beneficiaries.
Expected Results
It is expected to improve the social participation of the adults involved, strengthen their competences for inclusion and generate transferable tools and materials for future training actions. It is also planned to increase the capacity of participating organisations to work with adult audiences in contexts of social inclusion and migration.
