VETVRKIT
VR Training Toolkit for VET Centers
Project Description
Training will be provided on VR equipment, and demonstrations will be held of various educational tools covering a wide range of topics. Different VR equipment and software designed for education will also be compared. In addition, a web platform will be created to host teaching materials, which will be categorised and demonstrated to other trainers, tutors and VET staff at local multiplier events and national dissemination events. Furthermore, surveys will be conducted to measure changes in the learning process.
Objectives
- In many countries, VET provision lacks high-end applications and modern teaching tools, such as VR technology. Although trainers recognise that they need to constantly improve their skills, they also struggle to find educational opportunities and curricula that enable them to enhance their skills and mindset so as to incorporate innovative approaches into their lessons.
- Furthermore, they cannot afford some of the equipment needed to experiment and then put lesson plans into practice in order to become ‘4.0 trainers’.
Implementation
- Training on VR equipment will be provided, and demonstrations of various educational tools covering a wide range of topics will be held.
- We will also compare different VR devices and programmes designed for educational purposes.
- In addition, a web platform will be created to host educational materials, which will be categorised and demonstrated to other trainers, tutors and veterinary staff at local outreach events and national dissemination events.
- In addition, surveys will be conducted to measure changes in the learning process.
Expected Results
Teaching materials and learning resources (lesson plans, case studies, educational scenarios, best practices) will be designed and uploaded, covering a range of topics that are open to improvement, review, discussion and feedback.
In addition, a VR GUIDE FOR VET TRAINING IN EUROPE will be produced, containing guidelines, frequently asked questions, instructions and benchmarking exercises for VET schools and centres wishing to incorporate VR tools into their curricula.
Por último, se creará una red/comunidad de formadores de FP en RV.
